参赛短文题目: The British believe in ghost

Traditionally, the British are Catholic or Protestant, but a public opinion survey conducted by the UK's leading retailer Choices UK shows that modern Britons believe in phantom more than god. It includes two thousand respondents, and 68% believe that there is a phantom exists, while only 55% believe that god exists.

Among those who believe in phantom, 12% claim to have been "hell", while 76% insist that the phantom theme for a television show or film is the reason why they believe in ghosts. In addition, 26% believe in UFO, and 19% believe the reincarnation, while the other 4% believe Nessie.

When it comes to Halloween, on the cover of the school magazine, headlines like "Beware of the ghosts under school" will be printed impressively. The texture will be all about the interesting rumors of terror. The student magazine, distributed free of charge, funded by the schools, with no funds profit pressure, "Coated Paper full-color printing, large format ".That’s crazy.

Regard of this, television programs related to ghost are popular in Britain. You can see programs like the top 10 most haunted English castle ghost or a medium of dialogue with dead celebrities. Sometimes, the moderator wears strange clothes and hides in the cold tricky cemetery castle or other places to mislead the audience that she or he is the Witch or Shaman, so as to take everyone's reaction.

Apart from this, there are many taverns with hundred years of history in Britain, and The old legends are haunted pubs. However, it is interesting that the owner usually writes more about the ghost on a special manual on each table. Always, such taverns sell better.

It is interesting to make ghosts an industry. And it must be a impressive character of British.
